In the Forgotten Realms (before 4E kicked the setting's continuity in the balls), when dwarves require healing or love, they invoke Sharindlar, the Lady of Life and Mercy. Sharindlar champions fertility and romance, and her devoted priestesses, the Thalornor, teach dwarves about the ways of love, courtship, and dancing. This was my take on those priestesses.
dA viewers will already have seen Breehan, the ginger on the left, in another dwarves image, but I actually drew this one first (and I prefer her more-realistic hair color in this one too). I like her enough that I'd like to put her in yet another drawing, but I may never get around to that.
This image has held up reasonably well in my estimation, though I do wish that, in addition to filling the environment with symbols of Sharindlar, I had given the figures some remnants of their official garb (blue scarves, red robes, etc). I also don't like the crude, symbolic diadem that I gave the middle figure.
Suffice it to say, this is one of my favorite dwarf images, and the one that first got me to being a fan of your style.
